Surely we aren't considering paying more than a million for Krovinovic? 1 goal and 2 assists in 19 games is useless for a number 10. Carvalho might be inconsistent but he could get that in two good games.

RC, is FK a no10? I would say a centre mid but no end product and certainly can't shoot. This might sound mad ut i think carvallao and taylor would work better. I hear thst tsylor is being shipped out. that's a strange one.

Barnsley are one of the clubs that have shown interest in signing Lyle Taylor on loan, after the way the manager treated him it would be plausible the club would send him out on loan but boy would the manager look stupid if he went to Barnsley and he scored plenty of goals to get them up this time.

GF - he'll score more goals than Grabban, that's for sure.

I reckon it depends on who we can sign. If we sign 2 strikers and are only going to play one then we don't need Grabs or Taylor potentially. We could have Will Swann and/ or Brennan Johnson as third/ fourth choice upfront.

Apparently the boss is going to keep Grabbs and use him at No10 or no9.

Johnson played at his best on the wing for Lincoln, Hughton does not believe Swann is up to it.

You can not depend any player staying fit all season especially your strikers, if one of them does get injured then you end up like last season panicking trying to find someone as cover.

Taylor being moved on is a good move. He is a big earner, and earns that money by sitting on the bench. His wages may fund younger and better talent. When a 37 year old veteran striker is considered better, that says it all really.

No, FK is not a number 10 really. He is not creative enough for no10 at this level.

Murdock one managers piece of coal is another managers Diamond.

Going back a lot of years Colin Calderwood did not rate Grant Holt as a striker so put him on the wing, then sold him because he deemed him not good enough on the wing either.

Holt went on to score for fun in the Championship and did well in the PL.

It has said Taylor fell out with the manager, which i believe, and Taylor may not suit the managers tactics.

I don't remember his name, but we had one striker who fell out with Megson (or a similarly crap boss) and we loaned him out when we were in league one. He fired Norwich to promotion to the Prem (when we were in league one and failed to go up) then scored regularly in the Prem. His name escapes me but he was a decent player.

Anyone remember him?

Marlon King. He couldn't get a game for us in league 1. So we sold him to Watford and then he fired them to promotion to the Premier league. Not good enough for us in league one? Bad man management. Probably what the problem is with Taylor.

Transfermarkt has the stats/ details.
