Reds fans, in the short past I have stayed my point of view on many items . Some political, those I had stated were from reliable sources, and most of them not all have are materialised . My dear friend a ex England captain is now suffering with Alzheimer's, and with Chris Sutton is fighting the FA for compensation and recognition that heading a ball is the cause . Another close associate is dealing with this problem in Scotland and are based at Hamden Park .
With all that going on I take my leave and wish you all good health and a prosperous Forest. I myself will be pushing my idea of powering cars homes and boats with continual electrical power, no batteries no solar no fuel 100% cargo free .
Goodbye 😂.

Difficult subject for me are we saying no more heading of the ball?
Or was it because the balls were heavier in their day?
Dementia has cost me my parents my grandmother my mother in law and my partners mum and dad its a devastating desease but not sure that heading a ball is the cause and i don't want to see us all living a life being frightened of doing anything.
Just saying no offence to anyone.

I lost my ex mother inlaw to it ff79.horrible thing to witness. I played with the old case ball as a kid yup strings attached and innertube. If it rained was like kicking a medicine ball. but i agree that it may be hereditary. And as you said. No harm intended.

Btw obviously i'm not bringing out professional players who headed them for a living. Just saying i remember what they were like. And i tell ya they really were heavy in the rain. But in them days. So was life coming from a big family. Football, tinablock, rounders, etc etc. Anything to get outside. How life has changed with kids bless em.

Yep bowie playing football on the school field sometimes we had 20 players on each side as everyone was welcome for a kickabout and we'd be there all day.
Like you say the ball came keen if you headed the laces.
I had steel toe cap boots as well handed down by my brothers and kept on by four pair of socks to stop em coming off when i kicked the ball. 😁.

Just thought I'd share this little story with u reds. My youngest son text me last night saying his mate had put 5 grand into a currency called elon musk. It shot up. He made £120 grand. My son put £1500 into it last night and made £300 overnight. 😳😳 i personally won't be doing it. Just thought i'd give you a heads up if your feeling lucky. 🤞.
