Red cyclist and cjay hage been making good points re team selection rotation, injuries etc. The overall concern is the system that SL sets up. It is a very negative defensive formation. If we concede first then teams know how to nulify our predictable threat. Too many times we have only one attacker in the box and Lewis at times is so casual he misses more than he scores. When we were chasing the game we pushed more players forward and looked more threatening, then that's matty cash he carries a threat and will always get a shot away and quickly when in an advanced position. Silva carries little threat and the rest are defensive minded. Ameiobi, well you never know with him, he could be utter brilliant but beats himself a lot of the time. What i am saying is i dislike the stagnat formation. We just do not get enough players forward fast enough with incisive passing. And you cannot deny the schoolboy approach to our chaps running with the ball then stopping and saying here you have a go. It lacks bite and cohesion. The 5 brought in in january don't appear to have an attacking edge that offers any contrast to what we have. Cash and lolley combine well but then cash puts in a decent cross to one of the smallest strikers in the leagueand he is generally on his own. Its fair play to SL that we have generally maintained a top six slot but we just can't attract or identify solid powerful inteligent attack minded centre mids or that all important 2nd striker or a different option to Grabban. Interesting 2 months ahead as the hand is played!

Think this depends on your perceptions of our players strengths. I don't agree we should be pushing players higher up the pitch, purely because we're better on the break, We've got nothing on the books who can play a pass through the lines and we've built a defense first approach that's got us here.

Its dull to watch but it gets results, for it to work, Watson has to stay deep, so does Sow, Silva has to get the ball out wide and that's where we attack. The rest is up to individual bursts from the wingers or full backs.

Lamouchi played this way at Rennes, it won't change and I don't think he's anything more than harder work to bring to them home games where we struggle to break teams down. He's literally said as much.

I agree the recruitment Jan recruitment was dross.

R R1 as regards grabban, think you’ll find all strikers miss more than they score.

What let's down your arguments rutland is grabban is one of the top scorers in this league and has been for the last 3 or 4 seasons,
We do attack with purpose and the system is one that liverpool adopt and many others, we have lolley and cash bang on form on one side and reberio and ameobi on the other, two defensive midfielders in sow and Watson with a grafter in there in silva, the idea is a 433 like liverpool, think your very old school in how you want us to play.
We just don't have good back up for our best eleven we have two or three players that can cover but that's it.
Biggest problem is when sow is injured or rested as Yeats can't fill that void.
All in all Lamouchi has done a fantastic job and I've enjoyed the season and will continue to do so, just don't want to see wholesale changes against the so called lesser teams, its been Lamouchi downfall if any criticism is aimed at him it's for that and the results prove it.

I don’t like the stagnent formation that’s got us into a position we would all of given our right nuts for at the start of the season.

Stagnant would place us bottom of the league mon, not sure what rutland wants?
It's about progression and we are progressing, been a good season for us but still not good enough for rutland, we don't make it this season then we will do it next, it might mean losing cash but that money would ensure our future.
Yes Lamouchi has made mistakes but has shown he has the recipe for success, still convinced we will do it this season, but not with resting players.

I'm scratching both now wondering why rutland wants the coach out?
Best we've had for many years but not up to his standards?
Like I've said he's made a few mistakes but on the whole been brilliant and got players believing in their ability got something special in our goalkeeper and defence to build on imo.
Made us some money with the value of worrall and cash going through the roof, so well done Lamouchi, no more resting though please 🍻🍻.

were where we are because we have a good manager he's made mistakes even I've questioned but where we are at the minute is down to him nobody can argue that fact apart from what could of been what might of been blah blah blah as far as I'm concerned I got us top 6 January and wasn't backed in the transfer window to finish the season off that's not down to him that's down to the owner to give him the money for the players he wants buck stops with owner now where we finish its that simple.

Rutland do you think we will stay up this season? with these poor tactics and poor attacking personnel I think it’s going to be tough but what do you think, stay up or league 1.

Remember in the first few months of the season when qpr were banging in loads of goals being open and doing well is that what you want? where are they now in the table? they are where they are because they havnt got a dare I say it Watson 😲 and sow in front of there defence, if we didn’t have them just think where we would be.

79 not sure where i said i want rid of lamouchi. I merely state that we are still about two attacking options short to carry more threat going forward. Grabban is a fox in the box and our style of play not suited to his best attributes. He has to run all over the shop for little reward.

Our style would definitely suit a big lump up top with grabban feeding off him. Like you say ameiobi, cash and lolley can get good crosses in but unless they are across the 6 yard box and low grabban is not a target man. To his credit he has persevered and notched his usual double figures.

Other than the charlton debacle i have grown to admire lamouchi. don't always agree with his style or formation but he has courage for his convictions and i believe honest enough.

Rr1 mate if we had a big lump up front with grabban feeding off him, we’d lose our numbers in midfield which makes us difficult to break down Sl whole style is based on this, so your never going to see 2 up front unless we’re chasing the game late on.

Problem is rutland we aren't going to play 442 anymore regardless of the coach, its a system very few use anymore as you get overrun in midfield, I enjoyed the WBA game only Charlton left a bad taste.

Lamouchi had no say in who was bought in just identified what he needed in certain areas
Shame the recruitment staff aren't up to Lamouchi standards.
Having said that they did give us reberio, samba and sow and ameobi in the summer, not many clubs even in the premier signed players of note in the January window, its a 2aste of time now trying to bring in good players in Jan window and for them to hit the ground running.
