I've always been a staunch supporter of Carvalho and still am a fan of his ability. However, as we've seen time and time again, his consistency is highly questionable. So for me he would be one player I would look to let go in January to generate funds to buy a consistent player. He's played round about 50 games and shown real quality in probably 5 of those. Brilliant at times then anonymous in the next 7/ 8 games.

Yeah I can't understand the singing of his name 2star maybe it's more in hope that he will perform because we never spent so much on one player before.

2 star airs a waste of time trying to stick up for cavs too many on here have it in for him because he cost us 13 mill over five seasons at 21 with no first team experience, we sold one with limited first team experience and they where the same ones up in arms even though it's been proved a wise decision.
Sold appiah for big bucks too and personally think that was a good decision as he showed nothing when in the first team.
Heres question for you all.

What is a number tens role in the team?
Is it to sit deep like silva and leave grabban isolated and pose no goal threat whatsoever, or is it better to score a few link up with grabban and make a few assists?
Dont start telling me how many tackles Silva wins try telling me how many loose balls he plays and the rubbish deliveries at free kicks and corners.
Be careful what you wish for, if you want the team to score more goals then Silva certainly ain't the answer and he's 26 and played plenty of first team football.

79 you say Silva plays deep, and Carvalvo links up play by playing further up field, it that not down to how Sabri wants them to play. If Sabri does not want Silva to play deep but Silva still does then Sabri is to blame for selecting him.
