Well with the worst attempts at goal ratio in our league it’s a must that we get creative players through the door in the January transfer window. A decent winger and a striker are a must, and please can we send Mir back? What the obsession is at our club with following Wolves and signing some of their players is ridiculous, just because they are a good side now doesn’t automatically mean we will be if we follow in their footsteps. Just hope the super agent hasn’t got any influence in January or we could be signing more like Carvalho Goncalves and Dias.

Red frog, it was probably worth a go, there was probably as much chance of it coming off than not. In thought at least one of them would come off but alas I think it’s unlikely now.

2star although hindsight is a wonderfull thing we should have gotten all three on loan then agreed to a higher fee for each one than was agreed in the end.

I don’t disagree, we tried something different and it didn’t come off - we just have to move on now - I still believe we will offload in Jan.

With the worst attempts at goal we aren't doing too badly are we?
The owners have at least tried different approaches to signing players that on the whole have been more miss than hit but now we have a better scouting structure and everything takes time to get it right.
I hope this window to just see two or three quality additions wether they are permanent or loans doesn't matter, just don't want wholesale signings and I believe the owners will be happy with our position in the league and will just add that quality.
Interesting you say we need a quality winger, we actually have two if not three in lolley, adhoma and cash if jenkinson was fit.
We need a goalscoring midfielder that can score from free kicks and deliver corners that hurt.

I agree with a lot of what you said 79 but Jenkinson showed at Arsenal, and has carried that mantra he can not stay fit for long enough to show his ability. Adomah is very much hit and miss, and Lolley is almost nailed on to start when fit he has lost his edge.

Interesting you say lolley has lost his edge?
So has carvalho, you don't become a bad player overnight, sometimes it's a loss of form, but I'm confiboth players will come through it.
Watson lost more than his edge last season but now looks a different player.
Worrall and matty and Yates proving the doubters that our academy players can be part of a successful team.
I think we should all just enjoy this season no matter what and see it as a real progression for once.

One person I would have in January is walker back I think he's earnt his chance now remember this is our first season under lamouchi I think he needs 2 so bonus if we it top 6 this season but my thinking is it will be next season.

I'm with you on that one skeggs.
Bad decision to allow him out on loan with no cover for grabban and then sign a waste of space at the last minute.

79 you misunderstand me, with Lolley i think he knows he is going to start way more times than not so has become complacent because he knows no one is good enough to keep him out of the team for a long period of time. Carvalho's edge has always been blunted very quickly are it became a keen one. You are right about Worrall, Yates, and Watson, i am pleased with our season so far under Sabri but there are always going to be players that lose form but in certain positions we have not got players that can keep that place should they get their chance.

Didnt misunderstand my friend on lolley, I can't and won't fault his commitment he's just out of form, he's not being complacent he just isn't reaching the level of form he showed last season, it happens look at a class player like dele Ali struggled for six months or more but now back to his best.
A teams conference is the biggest thing in football but even when a team is confident some players will lose form, but if you have the ability which lolley and cavs have they will come good.
A couple of good games and few goals and they'll be unstoppable.
You see when players are confident and
One thing I admire about Lamouchi is how is how he fills his players with confidence and isn't afraid to say he got it wrong at times, but he's got us at the right end of the table and a few additions will secure us promotion.
