Exactly Carlo. He was a little boy running around trying to catch grown men.
He played 60 minutes and for 59 and half of them he was poor.
We cannot afford to carry anyone and carry him we did last night.
Absolutely brilliant performance from the other ten though.
Sow and Ameobi stand out.

There’s one here Carlo! I agree he was poor last night, but still had a hand in one of the goals, and was part of a team that won! Also, it’s not always about what you do with the ball, but also WITHOUT the ball. Often at games, I’ll pick a player and watch just them for 5 mins to see their off the ball play as well as with the ball. JC makes himself busy, always wanting the ball and often making space for himself, even if he doesn’t receive the ball. This brings opposing players out of their positions to track him, creating space for others. He has a great footballing brain Carlo, and his off the ball work goes largely unnoticed!

Touchy subject that Carlo. Said that last night and got mullered.
He seems to be some sort of a massiah for some reason I'm yet to understand why. Poor investment so far and like you and skegs can't see it changing sadly.

We have to have faith in JC and Silva despite their performances, because the team has changed a lot and people like Lolley are having to support their full backs more, so he can't just roam around and do what he wants and be creative. I'm not a Carvalho/Silva fan at all and think we could/can get better players, but they can make a contribution and we should be encouraging them to do so. Getting on their backs won't help - we've done it in the past to players like Fox, who was unappreciated and yet did a lot for us. The Manager has realised we cannot just rely on Grabban, who by the way was everywhere yesterday, helping defend and running around in midfield supporting others, and that's why Ameobi/Adomah/Lolley/Sow/Semedo are expected to step in and score. Let's not get down on a couple of lads who are trying to do their best, let's look forward to them doing it.

Bsered I'm not getting on anyone's back I'm just saying as I seen it I said in a earlier quote that he made the pass to one of the goals he worked hard off the ball but that was quite a lot because when he had the ball he lost it or played a poor pass or got knocked off the ball all I'm saying his he could be a good player if he was more consistent in his game and put a bit of beef on anyway happy days 😁.

To be honest I thought our midfield for most of the game was pretty poor could have taken any of em off, joe ain't the same player as last season, sammy tried but lost the ball more than a little yes he scored nothing in the first half for grabban to get on the end of, second half played better but everyone seems to think we are Brill but if you look at shots per game passing percentage per game it reads a different story, on a positive we have a manager who's honest and says we need to be better he's got the players more organised and games we would have been beaten in last season we are winning I do think we'll get better let's just hope we can make winning a habit.

Why haven’t you called out Lolley, Adomah, Semedo or Ameobi when they’ve had a bad game? Some fans on this site are hoping our players fail so they can criticise them. I would suggest you take a look at yourself and consider if you’re enjoying players having a bad game. Every player has a bad game especially after coming back from a bad injury. Try supporting the boys instead of trying to pull them down. We are top of the league after all!

Dan you must have watched a different match to me I thought our midfield where outstanding especially the best signing since Lars Boinen in midfield in Samba Sow who we need to extend his contract beyond this season, the only player who can't cut it is the little magician why on earth he's called that i'll never know the only trick he did was to disappear.

There has to be a player who’s the whipping boy and now benny’s gone and Watson is starring it’s JCs turn.

Not a whipping boy but by a lot of cash is easily our record signing so obviously we have expectations of him that look hard to fulfill,as I said hope he comes good but the jury is out.

What do you want him to do? If you’re expecting a goal a game you’re going to be disappointed. His fee isn’t even that much anymore just think we what we got for Burke, Brereton, Appiah. He is 100% a whipping boy by some in here. Even when he does his job of getting assists and switching play he gets criticised on here. His position is one of the most difficult to play and yes I know he had a bad game last night.
