We finished 9th last season after yet again sacking a manager half way through it and then sign 8 new players so far with the manager saying he needs at least 4 more.
Why is then that we start with Cash rb, one striker and two pensioners starting the first game?

I really don't get it.

After finishing 9th surely we needed 2 or maybe 3 quality additions rather than a bunch of foreign kids no one has ever heard of.

We now have about 12 players in the 'bomb' squad sat on fat salaries and if Lamouchi doesn't work we start again!

Crazy.

Quality additions cost too much, and we put all our eggs into the Carvalho and Grabben baskets to stay within the amount that stops yet another transfer ban, if we were to fork out on two or three quality additions we could be in a bad situation, and those quality additions would leave in a heart beat, and because of the then situation they would leave for next to nothing

Carvalho didn't cost 13mill in one payment, its spread over his contract.
Grabban cost 6 mill
We got 7 mill for brereton and three mill for Osborn.
The reason we can't afford quality is we have far too many players on the payroll taking all that money away and more.
The problem I se is that the owners took over olympiakos and had success so thought they could do the same blueprint at forest.
Difference is olympiacos where already a successful club and had very little threat in the Greek league.
Weve had two if not three good dof's and theve all walked away, that tells you something is not right behind the scenes.
You have to applaud the owners for the off field strategy and it's great we will get a new stand and transformation of the ground, but that's not worth doing if you can't match it on the playing field.
Get the manager and team right first the can come after.

Like I said before FF on field it's no better than our last loony owner.
Don't get the mentallity on how we operate on the field and transfers etc?

You know me fawaz and I predicted wed sign these sort of players quantity over quality.
Should never have more than 24 player squad, its bad for morale and in any team game a good team spirit is a must.
But you just get called a moaner, I prefer realist and not being blinded by just hoping everything will turn out right.

GM2. We would not be at any risk under FFP rules by adding £10 to £15m in 2/ 3 quality additions. We had loans written off and over the rolling three year we are way above the risk area.

When we sack Lamouchi in either Oct or If lasts that long Jan, and then start again with an even bigger bomb squad, that’s when we start to be at risk.

It’s no good congratulating the owner for his off field success because his manager recruitment, player recruitment and football knowledge are severely inferior to what we need for a successful attempt at promotion.

It doesn't take a genius to see a bloated squad won't work along with signings of unknown quality.
We don't moan we pay a hefty sum to see forest succeed but get called out when opinions are voiced.
Sit back and relish in the fact you're correct with your statements FF. 👍.
