The Greek under 21's manager Antonis Nikopolidis is in the frame to be our next manager.
He's not listed in the betting market's but Greek sports sites mention him a few times and link him to us.

The guy who told me and was spot on with Pearson in talks with Derby then told me what day he'd be appointed. told me last night that first round of talks with manager's for the Forest job have taken place and anyone that's not already been spoken to won't be .
He only mentioned one name and that was to rule Martin O'Neil out and said as many as 7/ 8 manager's where spoken to and most where foreign managers.

I really hope it ain't the Greeks U21 manager taking over. can you imagine how that would go down? We had the chance to bag a decent and respected manager (assuming they would have come to us) and now - as I said the other day - we are being linked with dregs. I fear for the future.

well he is on the list in talks tomorrow in the mill café
his dad was greek and is very good on football manager 2013
pays all his bills on time gas bill just done
so fits the bill.

Surely everyone involved in picking the manager wants the right man?

if it comes down to money then that would be telling but I suspect we'll be ok and I'm excited to see a young foreign coach come in.

Strikes me that Fawaz is putting forward the Wanock's and Garcia's and Fat Mario is putting forward all the Greeks.

It's like Algerian bingo over and over again.

To be honest I really hope we do go for someone not that well known that would possibly bring new ideas to the club. Pearce failed. Freedman failed. Billy Davies failed. All backed as well financially. Appreciate injuries haven't helped their cause but all this talk of ex players coming back really isn't the answer. If MON wanted the job he would have already have jumped at the chance.

Say three seasons ago who would have been happy with these four as the Forest manager? Quique Flores, Aitor Karanka, Chris Houghton and Sean Dyche.

To be honest I hadn't a clue who the first two were? Did you?

Disappointed we didn't get Pearson but let's move on.

Dregs is the only manager we currently deserve, why would a decent manager come to us, at the moment we are at best a mid table championship club with no money to spend and an owner who is a little challenging to work for. Not very attractive to most managers that have been in the frame.
