Geddy has just arrived at Palace!

Andrew

1.) 02 Sep 2013
Bye bye pep

2.) 02 Sep 2013
I'm not happy bout it all, but if he wants to go let him. If he don't want to play for forest anymore, then go.

3.) 02 Sep 2013
On SSn. a replacement?

4.) 02 Sep 2013
We have to be replacing him. What u think ed?

{Ed034's Note - hope so

5.) 02 Sep 2013
This is bit of disaster if Geddy gone no replacement and no striker?

6.) 02 Sep 2013
Really can't believe getting rid of him quality player with no one to replace him what are we doing!

7.) 02 Sep 2013
My brother thinks reyes will drop to defencive midfield. I thought this was a great idea to be honest :)

8.) 02 Sep 2013
Totally gutted : (

9.) 02 Sep 2013
Yes, saw that. Question now is. if he is off has Billy got someone in mind to replace him. 15 minutes to go. tick followed tock. COYR

10.) 02 Sep 2013
A poor move by Billy and Fawaz. Unless we have a quality replacement then 6th place is where we are heading.

11.) 02 Sep 2013
We have a ready made replacement in Halford.

12.) 02 Sep 2013
I believe he's the one player that can make a difference for us getting into the prem. Been a bad day

13.) 02 Sep 2013
Shall we wait till the loan window shuts before we start moaning about no striker and no replacement. just saying

14.) 02 Sep 2013
Thought we were in for Bridcutt? Too late?

15.) 02 Sep 2013
Gillett to do an uninspiring but solid job - proved he can miss from 30 yards too! basically pep eh?

16.) 02 Sep 2013
Cohen isn't a replacement then? I said this at the weekend when cohen was moved into midfield. Knew it wasn't right then and openly suggested it to people who were around me!

In billy and Fawaz we trust. They want the same as us you know?! :)

17.) 02 Sep 2013
How ironic, what % sell on clause did wolves put in when they sold him

18.) 02 Sep 2013
Hope the ink runs out on his pen stay at the reds

19.) 02 Sep 2013
No one coming in. nothing changes

20.) 02 Sep 2013
Y let a player go without a replacement.

{Ed034's Note - because he wanted to go

21.) 02 Sep 2013
Letting pep go without a replacement would be such a poor decision after all of the talk of ambition and the quality signings we have already made.

22.) 02 Sep 2013
02 Sep 2013 22:52:28
hope this isn't true pep is a quality player. looks like we will have another season with no 20 goal striker & no strength in depth.

23.) 02 Sep 2013
Just give wolves the £4 million and get the man but same old forest I bet no signings damo

24.) 02 Sep 2013
Another poor last day of the transfer window. Didn't expect to be weaker at the start of the day? Poor

25.) 02 Sep 2013
A very very crap nite. this will make getting to prem soooooo much harder. he was our guts and guile and we are no where near as good without him. sad that all the ambitious talk has ended in a poor end to transfer window guuuuuttted and very unhappy with chairman and manager

26.) 02 Sep 2013
What's the use in getting upset over journeymen that will always follow the dollar?

27.) 02 Sep 2013
02 Sep 2013 22:55:36
Confirmed on BBC Pep has signed for palace!

28.) 02 Sep 2013
Think some of the anti Pep posters will realise what a fantastic player he was after he's gone. The guy is quality.

29.) 02 Sep 2013
02 Sep 2013 22:57:06
Sorry, not a great loss IMO. Our moves usually break down when they get to pep this season. Good luck to him if he has gone though.

30.) 02 Sep 2013
We could have already signed a replacement and the club hasn't announced anything yet.

31.) 02 Sep 2013
Qpr done good business tonite. we are now lagging well behind if geddy goes. very bad nite

32.) 02 Sep 2013
Yes would have been great to get some players in but up till now I think our squad has been improved considerably. Loosing pep and no transfer deadline news is not ideal but far from the end of the world. This time last year we would give anything to have the squad we have now. Still loans available too so glass half full for me. Thanks ed also for all your transfer deadline graft. Been some great reading.
Ro red.

33.) 02 Sep 2013
Why do you need to let him go if he wanted to go he's under contract

{Ed034's Note - so we should keep an unhappy player that doesn't want to play for our club??

34.) 02 Sep 2013
02 Sep 2013 23:02:51
Well forest yet again don't sign anyone mmmm all the rumors but NONE

35.) 02 Sep 2013
I wondered why fawaz and jimbo hadn't tweeted for a few days, poor night, poor end to the transfer window. again. Have we got another spin doctor? Is jimbo Arthur in disguise. Ha ha ha you couldn't write it.

36.) 02 Sep 2013
No news elsewhere inc Palace website about Pep leaving?

37.) 02 Sep 2013
As Billy already don his business

38.) 02 Sep 2013
02 Sep 2013 23:23:38
Premier league or not, doubt anyone would be seriously unhappy on missing out on Palace. They're not Real Madrid or Man Utd, doubt he had their shirt as a youngster

39.) 02 Sep 2013
Yes keep him. He would get over it in no time and continue to do the job he is paid for. We have nobody who has his combined work rate and ability and he will be sorely missed. When a player is under contract you only sell if it suits the club. This does not and we will be weaker without him.

40.) 02 Sep 2013
I have not seen any official confirmation of this deal anywhere so there could still be hope.
