expect Forest to sign Grant Leadbitter this week

I think we miss some pace upfront and someone to really get stuck in in the middle.
Has there been any movement with any of the previously mentioned Kuwaiti players, would be interesting to know

Really don't think the guy is worth upwards of £2.5 million though. I know BD is not a fan of loans but why not find a prem squad player surplus to requirements and do a yrs loan with an option to buy?

Problem is we take a player on loan he does well and we have to pay premiership price whereas if we buy now at championship price we get a bargain. Stan

I think we should look towards the prem as well in terms of finding a defensive midfielder. Chalobah did very well at Watford last season and would be a great addition on a loan deal. Also David Fox from Norwich is a very capable and experienced DM who isn't being used atm.

You agree the fee when you sign the loanee. £2.5 million for a Middlesboro midfielder is not what I call a bargain.

An ex-Sunderland man playing for Middlesbrough isn't something that usually goes down particularly well. However, if Grant Leadbitter keeps putting in these kinds of performances, Boro fans won't mind about his history. The big-tackling midfielder was instrumental in his team's 2-2 draw at Wigan, bossing the midfield as he so often does. Dont think he will be coming. he's said he enjoys being at boro he's got family up there and boro don't need to sell. he's a first teamer. Think we are wasting our time on this one.

Well we certainly need a 'midfield General'.
We need somebody that can open his mouth and control the middle of the park. We've never really replaced McKenna since he's gone.
