Ed, maybe I'm reading too much into this but Fawaz told the guardian that he has no help from anyone in the running of the club. Including from Kuwait. But earlier in the season he told us not to worry about FFP because of the investment we were receiving from Kuwait.

Did I misunderstand something here as the information does not seem to be consistent?

Fawaz is on about he gets no help with the day to day running of the club from his brothers nothing to do with financial help from kuwait

And the sponsorship is from himself, so he covers what he needs to cover in his own way which is most helpful. Looking back, wasn't another legend, Mr. Doughty a major owner of Umbro which no doubt helped?
