I would like to send this message in credit of Billy Davis and his staff. After every game we rant and rave about player x, y and z, but let's remember this team has a hunger and a unitedness (that's probably not a word but you know what I mean) because everyone plays for the team, the fans and the club. We won that game yesterday from the back through midfield and to the forwards working hard for each other. People were critical of Cox yesterday and I view that as nonsense. Often when goals come from midfield it's because it gets played to the strikers but they aren't selfish so they do a lay off here, a lay off there, and bang someone from the team in any position scores. That's how it should be in my opinion as it was even during BC's reign, we didn't have so many prolific guys then but the team could score from all over the park. Sure, a clinical guy upfront would be awesome like in the Collymore days but we need not worry. I think we can outplay any team in this division whatever forwards the opposition has and in my opinion we are playing more in the philosophy as we were under BC now more that ever before except now under BD. That's BC+1. Kind of ironic that. Billy and his team has set us up the right way. All for one and one for all as Muskateers often said and how the Reds now play. Kudos to what we have achieved thus far, and a huge thanks to Fawaz for bringing BD back and supporting him. We should all be very pleased. I am. I love this club so much. We have winners now even if we don't achieve this year, one day we will. I'll hold that hope and dream until I die.

Cracking post the way we are playing we have no one to fear especially at home. Keep the faith fellow reds there's still a long way to go yet.

I reckon you have said it for most of us.
Great Post

Well said mate we have a very good team at the moment who have beat all the teams in the top 6, we made qpr look very poor, like the guy said in cloughies day goals came form all the team but we did have some very good strikers in peter withe tony woodcock garry birttles & peter davenport all of who could score 15 to 20 & that is why we won what we did

Well said, but I am starting to think we need that goal scorer more and more, you mention Collymore. If he played in this team we would be top with Leicester.
Let's hope we get someone in who will take the chances Cox missed yesterday, the one from 3 yards about being the obvious one!

It doesn't matter that cox missed those chances yesterday because we scored 4 and we won. He still createdspace for other players pulling defenders out of position. Its nice we score thru the team but saying that we all know we need a striker which i'm sure will happen soonn

Simon Cox knows how well he played yesterday he needs no more reminding than the fact that he can probably hardly walk this morning through the amount of running he did?
On a day when the new back four were likely to get a mullering we played high up and attacked em from the off. The awesome display of pressure football lead from the front by cox was the reason we won and conceded so little at the back.

Brilliant post its nice to see all the positivity buzzing from everyone for a change. Keep behind the team be the 12th man regardless and we can only push on from here. Yoooouuuu redddds

In Cox's defence, the chance from 3 feet out that he missed was because it was also three feet behind him. I've watched it a few times and he should be congratulated for just getting his foot to it.

Simon Cox a true team player, would love to see him at the top of the diamond, hard working player, if you understand football, you can't fault his work rate and space for others he creates. I think we will get a surprise soon regarding transfers
