Grab an has a personal trainer, who it appears is advising him not to play. This goes against what the Forest physio's are advising. You could not make it up.

To which he responded very quickly to say its nonsense

Burncross,

Give the guy a break. He is 31 and has managed his injuries using a personal trainer for a while who will know his body better than the clubs medical team.

I seem to recall that you have been questioning why our players get so many injuries? So don't you think the medical team might be part of the problem?

I know who I'd trust if I was nursing a condition?

It was printed in the Daily Mail which is on par with The Sun as in that neither of which are reliable sources of information.

Let’s be honest if cars that a mechanic had fixed broke down as often as our players would you let him touch your car? It can’t all be bad luck can it ?

Right back to Trevor Francis tripping on a blade of grass,we seem to lose our best players to injury.
No mechanics in it just the rub of the green.
The modern day pitches and the fact they are knitted together with mesh and players wearing blades is bound to cause injuries,we are unlucky in some ways, but we have signed many players out of contract and not match fit,so injuries will happen on a bigger scale

07 Mar 2019 06:49:07
I have to disagree on that one, our injury list over recent years expands well beyond the rub of the green and signing unfit out of contract players .

07 Mar 2019 06:51:35
Ff, If what you say is true about mesh in pitches, and blades bound to cause injuries why do clubs have mesh in the pitch when it is costing them goodness how much having players out injured costing vital points, and the cost of insurance going up as a result.

07 Mar 2019 07:32:40
I remember stuart Pearce saying our pitch is too bouncy which is causing so many injuries and we wanted it sorted but he got sacked before anything was done

07 Mar 2019 10:15:29
Maybe that will be sorted during the CG expansion. Martin did mention having new under soil heating.

07 Mar 2019 15:48:28
I don’t think players had as many injuries when they were wearing proper football boots and studs. I never got any injuries wearing proper footwear.

07 Mar 2019 16:27:16
Burncross, If that is the case players need to forget about their egos and fashion status and get bokt makers to make how they should.

Their health should be more important, they would surely earn more money if they played more, i know i would prefer the club to bring in some who has had no problems injury wise than someone with a long history of injury problems.

07 Mar 2019 18:52:10
I suppose they all want to be bladerunners!

07 Mar 2019 19:16:57
S_Getty, The only trouble with that is they end up digging around only to find out they are going solo with their hans.

07 Mar 2019 19:43:01
Their is something in modern footwear and woven pitches. When i played pitches got sanded the only issue was turning an ankle. I used to firmly strap my ankles and be inventive with stud pattern to get grip but not be tripping over my own feet. Just my thoughts.

Also the pace of the game has changed beyond recognition.
Talking pitches can anyone remember us playing a game at home under sir Brian on a pitch covered in snow and a Orange ball,I know we won it and can remember Larry Lloyd being foot perfect, just can't remember who we beat.

08 Mar 2019 17:09:36
It was the cup and i think it was lincoln

09 Mar 2019 09:59:09
Hope grabbon is not going to turn into the new matty fryatt

09 Mar 2019 21:05:53
It sounds like it might be a similar injury - reasonable cause for concern .
