Will we ever find out who scouted, who chose, who decided the fees, for the 3 amigos or like many things in our lives - perhaps it will remain a mystery but I think we have been sold our most expensive player that at the moment we couldn't give away. My guess like Dias, we will not see our 13 M player again in a Forest shirt.

The boy has a touch of class and personally think he'll become a very good player.
The problem lies with paying so much money out when your a championship club.
13 million for a kid who hadn't hardly kicked a ball for bemfica in the proper league asks questions.
It could have been worst as gongalves was supposed to be even better and would have cost 20 million.
It's a risk we shouldn't have taken,but the kid does have talent and he's not exactly surrounded by it though.
On the flip side we signed lolley for 500k and now he's worth what we paid for Carvahlo,some you win some you lose,kids in this decision tend to lose.
Still time to make a late impact and I'm not giving up,can't see it being pretty though,but couldn't care as long as it has an end product.

I don’t think any of it matters , there is nothing sinister and no one was badly advised. Carvalho did fine under AK and would Have improved vastly, he will struggle under these two. He’d do fine in Derby’s formation. MON and RK play a different game that doesn’t suit carvalho, I do believe that I’m the fullness of time it will be a more effective brand of football in this league . I did say when we pursued these two that some of the players would have sacrificed to make it work and that will, I think play out. You never know they may be able to coach him enough to change but you have to remember he will have been coached to play a certain brand from a young age.
Best outcome will be for us to get our money back, if he goes cheap we’ve still got cash and lolley.

2 star and ff79 i totally disagree about carvalaho. You only have to look at his history, which their is none. Someone tried to be clever and say they had unearthed a star.Oops big big blooper. He has skill but a poor touch. He is not strong and has no pace. Has no ariel prowess and cannot tackle. The qualities vital for this league he is missing in spades. What he brings their is plenty of in the under 23's. Maybe if we were in the prem then the way people sit off wnd allow people to play he might be different. You won't see oneil pull this type of stunt or be persuaded to do so either. It is not the lads fault he just has not got it at this level. Its an awful scenario that was wrong and its no good forcing the issue. We won't get a brass farthing for him so big dilema for the club.

Fair enough Rutland , let’s hope we have a solution then because it’s more money than we can afford to squander and will undoubtedly restrict the plans of MON in the transfer market.

Was it not only a couple of games ago fans were questioning why mn hadn't picked jc because of his talent and best attacking midfielder we have next to lolley or the fact we'd hardly created any chances since he's not been playing, give him a break he's had a couple of minutes here and their so not exactly match sharp and having been at the game we not managed a chance till jc come on the pitch yeah he cocked up but how many of the other players have a perfect game take derby we could have had 5 past em but managed 1 . As for paying to much I'd agree but I think we'll make that plus more if we get to the prem as I think that's where he'd shine
