Huddersfield, Derby, Rotherham, and Nottingham Forest are showing interest in Dion Charles from Accrington Stanley.

I would say he would get regular first team football at the other clubs said to be interested in him and it would ruffle the feathers of Grabban and Taylor if Dion were to feature ahead of them on a regular basis which would mess up the atmosphere in the dressing room.

I would like him to join Forest but i would want him to fight it out with Taylor to play regularly and get Grabban out of the club in some form.

Just seen it RedCyclist, full of information, do you think he would be willing to be second, or third choice when he could be playing regularly for the other teams i mentioned.

23 May 2021 18:27:57
I think he believes in himself and would be fighting to be first choice.

23 May 2021 20:28:25
If going down this route i'd be going in for 22 yrs old Wilks at Hull. 19 league goals,8 assists.

23 May 2021 20:44:08
RedCyclist, where did Taylor's confidence get him.

24 May 2021 12:01:37
Taylor is nothing to do with any other player.

If you don't sign players like Charles then the alternative is exactly what we have been saying we don't want. Journeymen and out of contract players or foreign cheapies? We don't have £8M to spend on a Prem league young player.

So is it the Brentford/ Peterborough model? Or the Notm Forest/ Direby model? I know which one works. Do you?

24 May 2021 12:43:55
RedCyclist i would like Charles to join Forest, which i said before.

All i was saying would he choose Forest over other teams justvto be second or third choice.

His having confidence in breaking into the first team on a regular basis is great but i would imagine Taylor had the same sort of confidence.

I have regularly said Forest should go for young players mixed with the odd experienced player to guide them and not try the quick fix.

No matter what striker comes in I'd put him ahead of Taylor and grabban it's not like they could complain after the season they've had.

Id be going down the route of a new manager first.
Can see hughton destroying a few strikers.

28 May 2021 20:47:14
Well said dan1975 79 a decent forward doesn't blame the manager. Simple as

28 May 2021 22:01:10
Theres a lot wrong with the way hughton sets up to play and no matter who we sign it will show and the inevitable will happen and he will be gone.
Start with a younger manager cus football has moved on from hughton success and even big sam has found outthat old ways don't work anymore.

28 May 2021 22:11:26
Harry potter couldn't do anything with west brom 79 come on mate ? You can't blame sam for that, not that i love his football.

28 May 2021 22:53:56
Striker obsessed on here. Have people forgot you can have midfield goalscorers. The formation and obvious confidence needs to change. As redfrog points out messi would struggle with last season's tactics.as for midfield couldn't hit a barn door. (Forwards and goal) just get back to basics. More fluent attacking football, all we ask.

29 May 2021 22:34:24
Just a fact bowie mate big sams ways no longer work, remember he was at bolton not wBA before?

Personally I'd jettison both Grabs and Taylor. One is past it and was pretty much awful last season. and the other, was just pretty much awful. Lol.
