And so it starts The Star saying Lamouchi may lose his job, all this after it has been apparently leaked that the hierarchy will meet up with Lamouchi to discuss our total and utter demise which is obvious really . So here we go again the magic roundabout keeps spinning and the bookies will take bets on who is favourite to land the job. I bet Oneill and Karanka will be on the short list guaranteed. Clough its been a strange time. When we reflect on events, and i know its been the same for everyone. The players hardly trained due to lockdown and that period of 3 months they would have lost their conditioning and match fitness. Having to go again with empty stadiums would have been a weird de motivating experience. I think a review is essential though and it must be thorough. Lamouchi's failure is only matched by that of the DOF and marinakis, as make no mistake he is the decision maker.
Lamouchi would get my vote to stay as he MUST have learned a lot this season and i believe he had one hand tied behind his back by the DOF. DOF should go right now and let Lamouch decide how to set up a recruitment system, one that would allow him to be influential in the players brought in and shipped out. I think he had the majority vote in bringing in Brice Samba.
Thats the only platform on which he stays. Its obvious he was at loggerheads with the dof and his style of play was restricted by the cards dealt him. I'm being kind here btw.
Gave lamouchi the reins and he might just deliver. Its not such a big gamble as getting rid and sticking with the dof.

Something has gone on behind the scenes and some fall out has happened you only had to look at the bench to see no diakarhby or carvalho but kids instead.

Interesting what you say 79. I thought carvalho was worthy of a place on the bench he was better than skme if the dross but not worth 3 mil let alone 13.

No i don't i was discusted when a week after the intial last day to purchase it was announced that the stand was going ahead after.
That really stinks and was very dishonest of those responsible.
Lets see how long it is before i get a refund?
Messeged them in april with no reply.
My mate has bombarded them with emails asking for his refund as he's lost his job but you don't get a response.
Marinakis is always mixed with controversy and to show us the new ground get everyone renewing in anticipation and then pull the plug on it is not the dealings of an honourable man just my opinion.

But surely 79 if you held the purse strings would you build a new stand when we've failed to get to the premier league?
We must get quality players in first and get to the prem then spend money on the ground same as Watford. Although they look like going down at least they've got the ground if they cab get a quick return.
