in my opinion forest are missing a back up goalkeeper and a set piece specialist. carvahlo and silva granted have scored a free kick in there time at forest but they are not consistent with it. maybe a pacey winger to scare defenses because ameobi and lolley are good at being direct but don't do it with any real speed.
if you get someone along the lines of a reis nelson, obviously this is a unrealistic signing, but someone along them lines could help forest push for promotion. one more option would be bringing in a proven championship goalscorer someone like Murray someone like kodja who are proven and are known to bang goals in at the championship level. this could proppel forest maybe to the automatic places.

I think Smith is a more than adequate back-up keeper, but I agree with you on the free kick specialist. We don't seem to have anyone that scores from set pieces regularly.
The wingers are ok for me, but I feel we need a good box-to-box central midfielder who likes to get forward. When Samba Sow isn't in the team our midfield looks too lightweight. I like Carvalho, but he just doesn't seem to be cutting the mustard, which is disappointing.
First and foremost though, at least one experienced striker is a must. Maybe bring one in and get Tyler Walker back if we can.

Cant take a corner never try and score from a free kick.
