I look down some of the comments on this board and am convinced there are quite a few non Forest fans on here,

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 16:39:29
I am one of those that you think is a non Forest fan, Stevie.

18 Mar 2024 16:43:16
Stevie thinks everyone is a non forest fan if you don't agree with him I'd take what he says with a pinch of salt and laugh it off.

18 Mar 2024 16:50:48
Derby actually no mate, I think I was wrong about you, but look at some of the comments,

18 Mar 2024 16:58:59
D3rby, you have a swear word in your name. Bound to cause issues ?.

18 Mar 2024 17:30:16
Skegs you spend all of your time singing the praises of both sets of bin dippers, and slagging off everything to do with the club, don’t whether your a closet Leicester fan, or a billy no mates desperate for attention, ?.

18 Mar 2024 17:49:39
??? Stevie thought this site was just to talk about forest and football you sound a little jealous of me I'm getting a little worried you have some sort of crush on me are you sure your not the lonely one after some attention off me ?.

18 Mar 2024 17:59:38
Why do you think I spell it incorrect, Cyclist? A word as bad as D*rby should never get past the edds in my opinion. Unless spelt wrongly. Disgraceful. Hahaha.

18 Mar 2024 18:01:40
Skegs mate the day I’m jealous of you I’ll go and seek immediate psychiatric treatment, it’s my fault for feeding you the oxygen you seem to need to post your stuff, so from now on you won’t get any response from me, try the Leicester page, they love Forest bashers like you on there,

18 Mar 2024 18:13:39
I was called D3rby Red by my mates when I was younger who are mostly, unfortunately, and regrettably, woollyback bar stewards. 2 out the 7 of us are Reds. The other 5 weren't so lucky. can't always choose your friends, though.

18 Mar 2024 18:42:08
Hey Skegs. I said you would be back on here after your " beer break " making a pillock of yourself and there you go.

18 Mar 2024 19:26:16
Cheers Stevie that's great news and gazzi I've never made a Pilock of myself I speak honest words and I'm never wrong even if someone says I am ?.

18 Mar 2024 19:31:04
Some obvious points about who is a fan, in case you missed my comments below.

Certain folk don't want Cooper mentioned. You know the guy who has been most successful since Clarke and Clough. Strange? Of course, it is completely odd if you actually love the club.

The truth is that Nuno lovers don't want to mention Cooper now because Cooper did better than Nuno is. They don't like it because after being wrong for years about Cooper, they are now looking suspiciously like being wrong about Nuno too.

Some things on this site remain as predictable as ever. Wrong specialists never change their spots! ?

P. S. Do we miss the fist pumps? Well yes! Anyone who didn't like them is probably a bin dipper or a sheep, because we only saw them when we won games! Put that in your pipe and inhale. Talk about the obvious! ?

If you hated Cooper after finally getting back to the promised land, then don't be surprised if your loyalty is questioned. And stop trying to tell us what or who we can talk about, it's out of order. Up yours! ?.

18 Mar 2024 19:52:15
You talk about what you want cyclist fact his he's gone mate you seriously do need to go and see a grievance councillor and at the end of the day nobody got him the sack on here he done that himself with the poor football and results the man u all trust in as 79 was saying yesterday maranakis the bloke who according to him his rebuilding this club and has put a lot of money into it didn't think cooper was part of his plans for going forwad that's not my fault my friend come from the big man above ?.

18 Mar 2024 19:59:12
You don't need to make a pillock of yourself it's in your DNA.

18 Mar 2024 20:06:25
NEWSFLASH: bin dippers have grievance with Steve Cooper for getting the mighty reds promoted! ??.

18 Mar 2024 20:09:27
?? it's Arnie didn't think it would be long before u came for a little dig as well I thought you lot said there's more important things to talk about like football seems only when it suits but crack on I have broad shoulders and love laughing it off ?.

18 Mar 2024 20:38:45
Skeggs your just on here to try and wind folk up, no other reason just that, you say its about opinion?
But you don't actually have one when it comes to forest
So you crack on with your emojiws trying to convince yourself that you are hilarious.

18 Mar 2024 21:08:56
Boys I lived in Leicester I went through my whole childhood and teens being called for being a forest fan by the bin dippers there's nothing you could say to me that would even raise one eyebrow you just make me laugh and smile with your kiddy remarks and actually make me feel young again like I'm back at school ???????.

18 Mar 2024 21:31:06
Skeggs have you ever thought you wouldn't need to work seven days a week if you put your phone down and actually did some work?
Proper jobs pay so much better.

19 Mar 2024 10:09:24
Brilliant Ff. ?.

18 Mar 2024 16:24:41
Well we are in the bottom three now- no complaints from me. The football under Nuno has been so disappointing after a decent start. He looks to me like he couldn’t inspire the crust off a rice pudding and I’m sure the players must pick up on this. He just looks so disinterested.
I think the points deduction was lenient- it won’t make any difference in my opinion anyway because the longer we stick with Nuno the further we will be mired in the relegation zone. All so predictable.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 16:59:10
Redfrog I think you would of only been happy with a demotion to the championship you've never been happy with anything mate maybe if we go down.

18 Mar 2024 17:47:04
How can we complain? Honestly, how?

Spent loads on a pile of crap, the rules are rules. You tell me two transfer successes and I can give you seven that aren’t. Even you with your inflated ego can’t run a club like that.
Then we have Nuno. I know you love Nuno but to me he is a Charlatan. Just calling things as they are, the proof is in the pudding as they say. And that’s the facts whether you, me or Marinakis like it or not. We are in the. Bottom 3 for a reason.

18 Mar 2024 18:03:32
Red frog we can complain because the sanctions are being applied even handed, 2words Manchester City, , the premier league is bought and sold by sky,

18 Mar 2024 18:07:24
To be honest redfrog I wouldn't lose any sleep if maranakis got rid of Nuno tomorrow all I know at the time he came in we wasn't getting results and needed a manager with experience in the premier League and I stand by that still and forever results we need don't care who's in charge.

18 Mar 2024 18:55:05
Just read the club statement, initially quite impressed. This was tough but measured and I hope that they use this as starter for the appeal. Well said NFFC! Lots of comments critical of promoted clubs' treatment in the Prem.

18 Mar 2024 19:27:29
I read it to and thought the same Norfolk.

19 Mar 2024 08:13:34
1 charge compared with 115 is a big clue as to why it's taking longer to sort the City issue.

18 Mar 2024 14:28:05
Four points it is then
Now we no get some points on the board
Quite lenient.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 15:12:47
While City carry on regardless. "nothing to see here! "

18 Mar 2024 15:45:20
This will please the conspiracy theories, beat Luton minus 6 draw minus 4.

18 Mar 2024 16:05:22
Only one reason we go down with a. 4 point deduction……because we are s***! No one else to blame!

18 Mar 2024 16:40:27
That's right 2star down to Nuno and players now.

18 Mar 2024 17:36:22
I too think 4 points is quite lenient DTP. I suppose I'm just glad that both the players and supporters know where we are and what we need to do results-wise now.

18 Mar 2024 13:52:15
4 ptr deduction lads ?.

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 14:56:10
Now its a two way fight between us and Luton, not the end of the world.

18 Mar 2024 15:02:24
Everton as well when they get deducted more points.

18 Mar 2024 15:11:39
I think we can pick up another 15 points, looking at what’s left. The home crowd have got to get more involved. The lads who go away are always on the money. It’s in our hands now.

18 Mar 2024 15:16:25
Yes Everton still have more to come but I think they will receive same as us 4 points
But all is irrelevant if we can’t start defending.

18 Mar 2024 15:44:26
Your dead right Red Vale. our away supporters are second to none!

18 Mar 2024 15:50:12
Hope it doesn't go down to the last game at Burnley.

18 Mar 2024 18:19:28
The premier league and sky will do everything they can to make that last day jeopardy happen as well.

18 Mar 2024 13:09:59
No wonder we are in big trouble with FFP when we pay thirty five million for Sangare whos not worth thirty five thousand. Would love to know who scouted him. Mr Marinakis as done a huge amount for our club but the Sangare deal shows where he is been let down by those he puts his faith in, and to say deals like that are costing him and our club dearly now. On a more positive note if the players took a leaf out of Williams or Yeates book we would be in a much better place for sure. I still think we can just about stay up as long as Nuno picks players like the two mentioned not big time charlies like Sangare who I have never rated since I first saw him play. Also Forests best eleven must include Dominguez and CHO, both of who have not started the last games. Come on Nuno stop tinkering and pick OUR BEST SIDE in every one of the remaining nine games and we can do it. U REDS.

Agree4 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 11:48:11
I agree with others on here who have lambasted the Sanghare transfer and especially the amount paid.
Someone at the club saw his performances in Holland where he was a big fish in a small pond and we got well and truly suckered.
Even when we buy a player for a much smaller amount, there has to be a thorough look into the players temperament and personally. This bloke seems to lack in both departments.
Reminds me of a story ( not sure how true it is) One Mr Clough called Robbie Savage about the possibility of joining us.
Savage answered the phone with a shout of " Wazza ". OBE immediately put the phone down having judged Savages character instantly.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 12:53:22
Well and truly suckered again ……. Carvalho, Lingard, Sangare, Dennis, origi and many more - this just isn’t sustainable for a club like Forest and that’s why we are getting a points deduction.

18 Mar 2024 13:55:43
4 points so we're still very much in this league.

18 Mar 2024 11:21:45
After these FA cup games, I would like to give a shout - out about Mark Robins and his Coventry team. I just hope we can give wolves a game like they did. There's no front with Robins, it looks like he gets his coat of bulwell market, he wouldn't put on a baseball cap, and no need for a head shave because his lost his hair naturally. I really hope his team win the FA cup, it would be good for football!.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 12:15:20
Same here. despite him scoring against us.

18 Mar 2024 10:29:58
Only hope for us is that MGW, Dominguez and Yates score 20 goals between them for the remainder of the season. On second thoughts, MGW won't score any so it's up to Dominguez and Yates to get into goalscoring positions? Who else will get the goals if Awoniyi and Wood are injured, certainly not Origi, he couldn't hit the Sahara Desert with a tennis court ?. COYR.

Agree1 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 11:16:16
Very harsh on MGW. he may not score many goals, however he's our only player that can bring something different to our game. and he give everything for the cause. unlike some.

18 Mar 2024 11:50:03
I’m still not seeing enough though rogie, I think he’d be fantastic on strictly come dancing but I’m still not sure he cuts the mustard on the footie pitch. A few fancy flicks and plays seems to mask a lot, even the commentators on Saturday were saying that he is fantastic at corners and free kicks! Well I’ve watched most games this season (on tv) and it baffled me. Fans love him and I still back him but I’ll wait a bit longer before I think he’s a good player- being our best player doesn’t make him a good one.

18 Mar 2024 11:51:31
Agree about Morgan, he is our best player, he does ooze class. Without him I wouldn't entertain hopes of staying in the Prem. Spare a thought for him when he looks around the team and sees what we saw on Saturday. No-one else except Murillo looked like they could cut it! Watched other teams at the weekend, they were different class.
PS. Waiting for news about the PSR. Hoping for a fine and a telling off!

18 Mar 2024 08:50:58
Sangare shouldn't be picked again imo perfect opportunity for him at Luton to give us a dog of war performance against Ross Barkley! But he never laid a glove on him Barkley ran the show!

Gutless heartless display from a player who doesn't want to be here Ryan Yates has twice his effort and bottle and bleeds Forest

Barkley Free Transfer
Sangare 35 million

The joke is on us good and proper.

Agree2 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 11:40:10
Munmad, I thought Sanghere and Yates bottled up their attacking threat pretty effectively after the first 15 minutes, worked hard and shackled Barclay. They won the midfield battle.
Now that Barclay appears to have overcome his personal demons he’s probably worth at least twice the £30 million we paid for Sanghere ( whos probably still a bit rusty coming back from his AFCON injury).

18 Mar 2024 15:43:00
Stokey he’s crap.

18 Mar 2024 17:03:27
Yet he was in your preffered team to "win the midfield battle" at Luton MUNMAD.
You changed your mind after his first start for ages?

17 Mar 2024 23:30:28
There is one thing that some fans don't understand
We had a genius of a manager in clough back in the day, it was great and a time to enjoy, the problem when you have to move on from that great manager is who. can fill that void?
Frank filled it initially with the help of a genius striker in collymore, when collymore left we were done, then apart from Bassett and van hoydonk and Campbell for one season we've struggled with bad decision after bad decision from second owner after scholar fleeced the fans as the first
Then along comes fawaz
Hearts in the right place but he's a fridge magnet not the rich Arab he portrayed
So we come to marinakis?
Well in a few years he's done more by a million. miles, yes maybe impatient at times, but there is a determination to get is back to the top. and we are a money pit to any owner, we own nothing as a club and a business, so who would invest in that?
Whatever happens it wasn't for not trying from the owner
The players aren't crap at all its about finding the best blend.

Agree3 Disagree0

18 Mar 2024 02:57:16
A number of the people now blaming the players were blaming the coach before he was replaced and saying Cooper should be doing well with these players.

18 Mar 2024 10:18:44
Cooper didn’t want all those players, he was quoted as saying that he wanted to keep the team that took us up. But he was only the coach not the manager, so a bus load of new faces arrived with only a few weeks to get a side out of them. People knock cooper but I sit in the upper Trent end and I’ve never heard anyone calling him. Me, I’ll always be grateful to the man for what he did for us TRUE reds. Wembley was the best. The city ground doesn’t rock anymore.

18 Mar 2024 10:56:30
Cooper definitely enjoyed buses especially parking them some of the most boring football I've seen since Dougie freedman.

18 Mar 2024 11:00:36
When we first went up we got O'Brien, Toffolo, Bowler, Neco and MGW. I think all these players had input from SC, maybe naive for the Premier, we will never know because Mr 30% got involved and brought any player with a pulse!.

18 Mar 2024 11:09:38
Cooper continually overruled by non football people, the same people still roam the corridors of the CG and while they have so much influence things will continue to deteriorate.
A group of ex players and at the time current players told Cooper to stand up to them because they would sack him anyway but unfortunately he didn’t take their advice ands low and behold he got the sack for their decisions.
These peoples over ambitious ideas for Forest are what’s put us where we are today, possibly relegated.
CARLO.

18 Mar 2024 11:18:24
The big glaring difference is he got us up Skeggs did he not?

18 Mar 2024 11:31:45
Well Skeggs we can all have an opinion, as a season ticket holder i have mine, haven’t missed a game since retirement even having brain surgery long the way. I don’t know which cooper your referring to because freeman couldn't hold a candle Stevie cooper. Perhaps your thinking of Tommy cooper, then you would be right as Tommy cooper and dougie freeman were both comics.

18 Mar 2024 11:47:59
On another note, cooper was the only person to get a tune out of Jed spence, even warnock couldn’t do that.

18 Mar 2024 11:49:25
That's right we are all entitled to our opinions and rogie he did great in the championship the football was good he could change a game with subs premiership he was crap football was boring simple and red vale Tommy cooper probably of done better mate ?.

18 Mar 2024 11:50:43
Dane Murphy soon saw how things were behind the screen at Forest, realising he would be banging his head against a brick wall he got out while he still had a good reputation after trying to fight Coopers corner against non listening CEO, s directors owner ect.
CARLO.

18 Mar 2024 11:54:56
Morning Rogie, hope your hangover is nicer than mine!

The other glaring difference is that Cooper proved he knew how to KEEP US UP. We were 5 points outside the bottom three when he left. If we were another 5 outside now we'd all be a bit less scared. If the current trend continues, Nuno is taking us down, regardless of points deductions.

Please no! Whatever happens, we need to survive this mess of a season.

Let's hope that giving up the spirit the club had does not mean we can't finish the season with the same passion we did last season, because that is how we stayed up.

18 Mar 2024 12:19:46
I'm alright mate, watched a few episodes of Father Ted too!
Never tire if it lol.

18 Mar 2024 12:26:02
Just like that, skeggs.

18 Mar 2024 12:40:15
Mrs Doyle and too many cups of tea this weekend!

18 Mar 2024 14:26:35
Skeggs got a cooper fetish, news flash mate, he’s gone, we got your ‘ proven prem’ manager in charge, move on,

18 Mar 2024 14:53:01
Newsflash Stevie boys got a skeggy fettish he only reads my posts not the others who comment on cooper first ?? and your right Stevie proven premiership manager ?.

18 Mar 2024 16:56:53
Skegs your posts stand out as utter nonsense, all you want to do is to talk about a bloke that’s gone, ?.

18 Mar 2024 17:29:54
Read the posts not just mine even though I know you like reading my posts ? it's your cooper lovers that keep bringing him up not my fault there missing the odd fist pump ?.

18 Mar 2024 17:44:02
It's not just you Skegs. He told me off good and proper the other day for using C#@PE*S name when I was Trying to make a comparison ?.
I'll try not to mention him again along with ANY of our previous managers by that reckoning.

18 Mar 2024 18:03:19
What is this total nonsense? Yeah, we can have footy banter about anything except Cooper? Get lost! Cooper was a cool dude and I'll talk about him as much as I like. Up yours! ?

Truth is that Nuno lovers don't like it because Cooper did better than Nuno is. They don't like it because after being wrong for years about Cooper, they are now looking suspiciously like being wrong about Nuno too.

Some things on this site remain as predictable as ever. Wrong specialists never change their spots! ?

P. S. Miss the fist pumps? Well yes! Anyone who didn't like them is probably a bin dipper or a sheep, because we only saw them when we won games! Put that in your pipe. Talk about the obvious!

17 Mar 2024 23:27:03
Off ta bed.
We were given a willy wonka experience. Golden ticket who only a few can get.
Yet were given a typical jock experience.
Oompa loompa defence with a forward line with more confidence than paul smith from gazza.
Good luck reds luv ya.

17 Mar 2024 20:55:32
Murillo - the enigma. Somehow, our lacklustre scouting/ recruitment team stumbled on a 'golden egg' with this guy. I think he's amazing. Munmad and Bowie have posted about him amongst others. Forget 'playing out of position' - Murillo's attributes are crying out to be played alongside Yates in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Drop Sangare like a hot potato. I think these two are the ultimate ying/ yang and would be brilliant playing alongside each other. Given our current form and position in the table I think it would be a low-risk gamble well worth taking.

Agree4 Disagree0

17 Mar 2024 22:05:33
Legless murillo is the only player for me worthy of his ferrari or whatever it is. Don't get me wrong there's f kn thousands at the city ground doing the same. All I'm saying is stop crying out the lot of ya at nuno and coaching etc. For cloughs sake luton have took on the best. The players are letting us down for me full stop. Pathetic in front of goal. Pathetic in set pieces, defending and on goal. Ok ok you lot tell me the players with heart in this squad. When i say this, i mean who do you actually think are listening? And trying. Names please.

17 Mar 2024 22:18:48
No mate he's a defender and has the time to play those long balls from that position, you don't get the time in midfield
Don't understand the obsession on here with trying to play players out of position
He's a defender and will fetch mega bucks as a defender who happens to have a wand of a left foot
It's a bit like saying we should have played Stuart Pearce as a left winger cus he would have scored twenty goals a season instead of ten.

17 Mar 2024 22:29:45
We should enjoy Murillo for the last few games of the season because I can't see us keeping hold of him in the summer. Regardless of which league we are in.

17 Mar 2024 23:00:45
We aren't out of it yet Derby mate
It's down to nuno to pick his best team and stick to it
We know his formation and that's fine
Just pick the best players to play it?
That doesn't mean the most expensive ones, just the right players in the right positions.

17 Mar 2024 23:22:21
Bowie - Yates is the only one I can think of! Whilst I respect the above replies, I think we all need to realise that the current status-quo isn't working. Why not think outside the box in terms of playing positions to give us the faintest chance of staying up, particularly with such a talented player like Murillo? I agree D3rby - we will lose the guy sooner rather than later. So let's try to make the most of his potential in the meantime. Or should we accept that we are crap, not try anything different, and get related being remembered as the whinging club about Ref/ VAR decisions?

17 Mar 2024 20:45:05
Good evening fellow Reds, just a couple of comments on the Luton game.
First of all, a very old fashioned Edwardian Stadium with a very modern turbo charged and rabid set of fans. I found I couldn't see anything of the ball due to the low stand roof when the ball was in the air. I completely lost sight of Murillos effort from his own half and could only follow it by their goal keepers back pedalling until it dropped into my field of vision when he tipped it over.

Secondly, ( and I'll get my tin hat on here) I don't go along with the general gloom and despondency on here. Sure, it was a frustrating loss of 2 points but I can't go along with blaming Nunos subs in the circumstances. We were comfortable but they were dominating before the subs were made. People think 3 centre backs is a defensive measure but in fact it can be used offensively as a platform to attack or counter attack freeing up wingbacks for example. I think it was changed because of the expected aerial barrage. Just unlucky with the goal. The coach would have expected his big lads like Boly, Sanghere, Yeats, Felipe, Sels etc to be able to defend a corner. Felipe just lost track of the cross and ended up losing his man for the header which caused all the chaos in our box leading to their equaliser.

Lastly, I think Sanghere ( and Yeats) did very well, especially considering Sangheres injury lay off. They got through a lot of destructive work and, apart from the first 15 mins got on top and contained Barclay and Doughty very well. Incidentally, Sanghere is routinely berated for costing us £32 million, Barclay would probably sell for double that atm now he's put his demons behind him. A class act.

Of course, we don't know what's going to happen tomorrow but we should remain n optimistic. 5 out of our last 9 games are at home and our run in is much much easier than Luton's, who's thin squad is running out off numbers with injuries mounting. Plus Everton have some pain to come

Plus, we actually had a VAR decision go for us yesterday and a ref who actually looked at it!
????????????. Is our luck changing at last?

Agree1 Disagree0

17 Mar 2024 21:58:26
I'm going to get you in trouble now stokey great post mate.

17 Mar 2024 22:11:26
We started badly first 15 mins and allowed barkley 3 attempts at goal
Then we took charge and got a goal
Weveere in charge till 80 minutes
Then it was decided to shut up. shop and invite trouble
Watched the whole game.

17 Mar 2024 23:02:56
The only main player we had to mark 79, barkley couldn't bank on anyone doing it. Ok pun there but it's not just the defence it's the pathetic attacking, from midfield onwards. No heart. Actually I'd give mgw it. But for some reason he ain't got to pair.

17 Mar 2024 23:10:01
Just trying to put myself in Nunos shoes. One nil up, 20 to go, Woody not fully fit due to long injury lay off, what subs, if any should I make? …
Dominquez for MGW who’s given it all and looks like he’s running through tackle? A like for like substitution except Dominquez is full of energy. Reasonable change
CHO for Origi, like for like against a tiring defence who got the runaround second half v Bournemouth on Wednesday whilst we were putting our feet up? Reasonable change
Woody for 18 year old Ribeiro? Or would we put the veteran Felipe on to meet the increasingly desperate and expected aerial assault, weather the storm and hit them on the break to apply the coup de grace?
Reasonable change, just unlucky.
But it’s why Prem coaches get paid the big bucks my friends. You pays your money and takes your choice. On another day it works, on Saturday it didn’t.
Was it Napoleon who said he’d rather have a lucky General than a good one?

18 Mar 2024 10:11:43
You can play with extra midfielders stokey and press higher up the pitch
By bringing on fillipe we invited trouble to our own area and when you give fouls away around the area its only a matter of time
That change to three defenders cost the game and put us under pressure.

18 Mar 2024 10:42:31
Thanks for your view StokeyRed, never been to Luton, but don't you have to go threw someone's back garden to get to your seat?.
There was no surprises how they was going to play, they will play the same in there next game, I thought we ran out of ideas and energy in last ten minutes, also Woods going down with no one near him, it's happened before with our players, is it the training?.

DTP mate, I completely respect your point of view on the subs and you could well be entirely right. Guess we’ll never know.
I was just trying to put myself neutrally in the shoes of Nuno ( an orthodox defensive coach and protege of Jose Morinho) and work out why he took the decisions he took. It could have worked but as Cloughie said it only takes a second to score a goal and that’s what happened.
Once in a generation an UN orthodox genius of a coach appears and makes apparently unorthodox decisions. The romantic side of me thinks Cloughie would have kept the same system brought Ribeiro on for Wood, straight swap, with the instruction “ Look, young man, we are one nil up with 20 minutes to go. Get on there and make a bloody nuisance of yourself “
??.
