I've never seen such rubbish in some of the post Manchester City posts on here comrades. Anybody would think we'd lost to Mansfield Town not one of the best ( if not the best) and well funded club sides in World football. Let's keep things in perspective. Look at the subs, any side that can bring on Mahrez and De Bruyne is really spoilt for choice.
We have to learn that we will mostly take a beating from the likes of City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea though once in a blue moon a top side will be beaten like Chelsea were by Southampton.
We will get better as the new players ( 20 of them by tonight I think) gel and several players get fitter.
We should be beating the likes of Bournemouth at home on Saturday. It would be cause for concern if we dont. But we spent 23 years trying to reach this level so let's take the rough with the smooth and enjoy it! Coyr!

Stokey I hear you but explain why surridge doesn’t even get a look in. A player that real puts it about and is an accomplished finisher. Yup we’re going to take some beatings but it’s the manner in which we take them and as fans we will have an opinion on formation, team selection etc. it cuts both ways…

It wasn't the defeat is was the manner of it like you say rutters. No effort made to attack. If we'd have gone out attacking we probably would have lost 6-0 but at least with some pride. ?.

Everyone keeps saying the strikers need game time they could of had a full 90 last night nobody expected us to win so wouldn't of hurt it would of gave them a run out though.

Thoroughly agree with your post Rutland. It’s great that everyone has an opinion, it makes the world go round. I think we should keep Surridge I rate him highly, as you say a finisher and a grafter. It gives CooperMan options on what type of striker he wants for a specific game tactically. I hope SS stays and gets some games. To be honest we were so overwhelmed last night we could have played anybody it wouldn’t have made much difference mate.
