Forgot we even had Bong. Like a lot I agree we to do seem to sign a lot of dross or injury prone players and this seems to be the case since after Bonkers Billy left. Players who when coming off the bench feel you with zero confidence. Over the years since Cloughie left we have had some good players coming off the bench too many to mention but I can remember Jack Lester, Darren Huckerby coming off the bench and doing the business I think Huckerby even scored a hat trick coming off the bench. But since Bonkers Billy its dried up. Just seems a long time since we had 2 strikers capable of scoring 15 goals a piece or just someone to make a difference. In fact thinking about it even when we leave the likes of Lolley ect on the bench it doesn't seem to make much difference. And why oh why do we collect rubbish players on big contracts give them a long contract and 2, 3, 4 managers later they still here training with kids picking up a decent living. Sometimes I just wish we would pay players off and get rid sick and tired of reading in the post, the 5 players or the 9 players with their future up in the air ie Clough, Bridcutt and so on. Leaves a bad taste and can't be good for morale and must leave a stale trail of fed upness hardly inspiring to young lads, looking to make a living out of football.

I know he didn’t have a good game and was partly at fault for the goal but can any of us really judge him on 1 game. Some folk very quick to bin a player off. Give the bloke a chance!

Bridcutt looked much better than some of our midfield signings and very experienced at championship level ,Bong just another pointless signings to our ever bloated squad,blocking our own products paths!
