First of all its obvious that most people on here are all out Nottingham Forest supporters which has to be a good thing. I scratch my head in the knowledge that some think its so easy to come into a club and instantly wave a magic wand and start winning every game going which obviously you can't. What Forest needs is stability and not changing the manager every ten games because they lost a few of them. Just a quick look back on another team in the shape of Man Utd who had a Scottish manager who was doing shockingly bad but the owners had foresight to hang off sacking him and trust in him (Yes its Sir Alex Ferguson) just look what he did :-) .

So the play offs are over now so we need to identify the problem areas and sort it out in the summer. I'm pretty sure the owner will back him in the transfer market as long as we get rid of some of the dead wood we have too.

Again we need stability not change for us to grow so we need to back the management team and if anyone thinks its easy then get your CVs in and do the job yourself.

Each time we get a new manager i do not expect a magic wand to be waved and for us to start winning loads of games, i hope it happens but do not expect it, there is a difference.

The trouble is, when we got Warburton he said his instructions were to build a young team to play good football, and that he would be given the time needed to do that.

He however was not given much in the way of funding, he decided that possession is king although in theory the more possession you have the less the opposition can hurt you it did work in practice.

He had the team so concerned with keeping the ball they were not prepared to force the opposition into making a mistake, so the team mostly kept it in our own half waiting for the opposition to make a mistake, they however worked out if they from the off came into our half of the pitch and put us under pressure we easily cracked, so he was soon gone.

When we got Karanka, he had already managed to get Middlesbrough to the Premier league so the club changed tact and gave him whatever he wanted. Similar to Warburton he likes the team to keep possession, even if it means the ball being in our half a lot of the time. He brought in a load of players in the January that he thought suited his style of play more and might have a better attitude, but it took him too long to work out his best team, then in the summer another load of players came in, and again he took ages to work out his best team. Players stated getting frustrated by the swapping and changing then the results steadily got worse, not that they that they were that good before, so he left with his tail between his legs.

Even though Martin has a reputation for rubbish football possibly on the advice from ex players the club brought Martin in. He had the new manager effect and results got a bit better, although the football was not good at least we could still make the play offs, but teams quickly worked out how to beat his boring game plan, either he has to change tact and get us playing better football, or he should go.

I do not like managers being sacked as quickly as we sack them, but losing games regularly and watching rubbish football make me want Martin sacked if he is not prepared to at least entertain us while he tries to improve the team.

Bezman you say that you can’t wave a magic wand and expect to win matches straight away and frequently with a new manager but leeds, sheff weds, A villa have all managed to do it this season? To be honest it’s not the losing of matches that worries me it’s how we are losing to sides that are simply mediocre. Blackburn yesterday were a poor side that never had to break sweat. This current set of players are probably the worst assembled and managed side I can remember in my 40 yrs of watching them. I be said it before and ill say it again there is only around 5 players I would miss the rest can go.

Is there any 5 aside leagues we could enter? I reckon that’s our only chance 🤣

Keenred looking at the team of players that leeds, sheff wed and villa have got then you could possibly scratch a few wins in a row. You can't blame Mon and rk for the all the players that have been inherited and to honest does anyone other than the owner, Mon and RK know what was discussed about plans for Forest and i mean squad recruitment and team philosophy's. All we can do as loyal supporters is trust in them and not cry for a new manager when things go wrong. As i have said previously we need stability. But believe me i truly understand where people are coming from
