So come on then Martin in or out wat do you all think ? Give reasons for and against will make interesting reading. I m not sure because this forest job got to be one of the tougher ones and as the manager you are on a hiding to nothing. I'd like to think this legend of a player and his assistant can show their credentials and spark us into life. If this happens then most of our current squad needs to go, wat I don't want is to still have pretty much the same squad Martin gets nowhere and the managerial conveyor belt continues. Don't think my ticker can take much more

Ffs give him the time and free mAntle offered AK AS a minimum. You cannot make silk purse from a pigs ear. This squad is awful. End of.

Look at the Press conferences - MON has been direct, straight, not let down his players' confidence and helped create a better atmosphere around the place. He has not given himself or the club/owner any excuses or blamed anyone for the results. He's doing the best he can with a squad marginally better than the one we had last year, and as far as I can see he has not allowed any infringement of the FFP rules.
He has to get the finances of the club right for any platform of ascendancy to the Premier League, and that can only happen when all those people who are past their sell-by date can be moved out and on.
So far we do not have any inkling of what he plans to do in the Summer and who he will either look at or bring in - I fear if it is the DoF who decides that we are in for an equally tough ride next year.
If Marinakis jumps the gun and sacks these guys Forest are heading for a real disaster because whatever any of us say it is the lads on the pitch who have to do the business, and all we can do is support them, the manager and the club as best we can. Constant moaning and unreasoned negativity only makes things worse.

Out! Definitely out.
Didn’t want him in the first place. Yes he is a star in our history books, but manager, no thanks. When he was appointed i was underwhelmed but thought “give him a chance”, we’ll he’s had his chance and fluffed it.
We are going backwards under him, he’s strengthened the squad since Krankie left but we are worse off. The playing style is dreadful, boring, predictable and primitive. We can’t say it’s the players or the squad as we were performing better before he came. Team selection and tactics are questionable. We won’t make the playoffs now so if we didn’t win again til the end of the season and it meant O’Neill getting the bullet, I’d take that. The whole team needs a clear out, starting in the dugout. The happy clappers can dream all they want but it ain’t going to get no better with him in charge. And talk of giving him money to spend in transfer windows, well I wouldn’t even give 50 pence for a bag of crisps. Get rid!

A man that wants his team to lose to get a bloke the sack how sad is that??

11 Apr 2019 17:58:44
Bit harsh tap tap I asked for opinions fair enuff but ouch that's a kick right in the farmers particulars. guess you want him out then.

11 Apr 2019 19:59:18
I agree with tap as far as the football under O neill is the worst I’ve seen for a long time so I understand his frustration but he inherited a squad of 30 plus players, 28 of them defensive minded due to dullard Krankie. So let’s give him a pre season and the whole of next season to assess him. We should never want to lose games to get managers the sack. Next season could be very interesting and with the ground development on the horizon we have much to look forward to. COYR

Tap as they say the truth hurts.
If O'Neil was as good a manager as a player we would be awesome.
He needs to go.

11 Apr 2019 21:55:45
He's one of our own. And if you can't get behind him their is no hope. If he is given the money thst AK flushed down the toilet then he will build a good squad.

11 Apr 2019 22:21:49
Stevie first. About as sad as another season of despair after all the pre-season hype. Nothing will improve with him in charge, give him millions to spend, a brand new squad of players a pre-season and the start of next season and it will still be the same old tripe. The villa fans and the ROI fans were always venting about the poor, negative football. It’s sad of you to think that things will improve, they won’t! I know I’ve got a great idea, let’s give the fossil loads of money to buy a load of crap and have another crap season. Get real Stevie boy.

11 Apr 2019 22:27:56
And to be honest Stevie, I really don’t give a monkeys if you think I’m sad, I don’t care. But I’ll be happy when that whispering buffoon gets the bullet.

11 Apr 2019 23:03:24
Tap you don’t give a monkeys that I called it sad that you wanted the team you support to lose , it didn’t bother you that much you added an extra message on just to tell me you didn’t give a monkeys lol

12 Apr 2019 00:26:01
Are you really laughing out loud Stevie boy? Really? No, thought not. Or maybe you mean lots of love?

12 Apr 2019 08:52:58
Does not matter who the manager is unless there is no harmony on the player recruitment front.
It's clear that player recruitment has been controlled from Greece since the last year of Fawaz.
The British buys have out performed the overseas buys so in my book the jury is out on the new DoF who has clearly been pulling the strings and is the weakest link.
The truth will out and MON will walk if he gets fed the same diet as has been served up before!

12 Apr 2019 08:59:48
Tap. 😂😂😂 does that clear it up for you mate

12 Apr 2019 13:14:55
Yes Stevie if you say so.
