Maranakis obviously has eyes on a return to the Prem, he's not doing that brilliant ground redevelopment to stay in the 2nd tier. But we ain't going to get there with Laurel and Hardy in the dugout. Get rid!

Harsh on Laurel and Hardy I doubt they would pick Osborn above Robinson at leftback.

To early for that tap,
Even if we went up we'd come straight back down all three teams that gain promotion this season will be relegated next, they aren't anywhere near good enough.
Even Fulham spending in excess of 100 million has not saved them.
We have to build a team and that can't be done by keep changing managers.
Think the owners looked at our squad and because it was so big assumed we were equipped for a promotion push.
The reality is we don't have enough quality for it.
Can't see any manager getting a proper tune out of this squad, the first thing we need is to add some pace and find two goalkeepers.
I'm not fussed about colback signing either after seeing mcginn run him ragged, now that player does have quality and a pity warbo wasn't given the funds to sign him.
Need a captain, other than Dawson can't see one,Watson is just a passenger when he plays.
Alot of things need sorting playerwise, sacking the manager after a few games won't change anything.
Time for some superbock now.🍻🍻

Ff, You say Fulham spent about £100m, that was on about twelve players. That is just over £8m per player, that is peanuts 🥜 for the Premier League.

That's the point lc,they at least had a team to add to,we don't and even our owners would not spend that much.
Need to have the foundations of a team there in the first place.

Good post FF. 🍻🍻

Completely agree with all of that FF.
What we’ve gots nowhere near good enough for the Prem but i reckon the football style won’t change under O’Neill and that style just ain’t good enough to compete for promotion. Do we twist or stick? I’m going to go with Chubby Checker. “ Come on let’s twist again like we did last summer”

Ff, Fair enough, but for me they should have spent that £100m on 5/6 players instead of 12 players.

The in theory better quality of player might have helped them to stay up.

To get the right balance and a team playing attractive football and to gain to promotion and stay there it needs to change at the top, i'd prefer MON as a director of football, and send McGovern and Clark packing.
I’d keep Roy in some capacity, as a manager I don’t think he can take the pressure, if there’s going to change again it really needs some thought and not a has been or a journey Man. The performances in recent weeks have been woeful and has lacked belief and passion.

As i keep saying oneill as always been a stop gap and would never have a bad word to say about the man a legend in my eyes and probaly in the eyes of a lot my age oniell if he doesn't think he's able to do the job will step aside come summer and what ever he decides is goid enough for me not exactly the best of players to come to to try and get you inti the premeir league
