Is it true that Derby, Aston Villa and Sheff Wednesday are all looking like getting sanctions for Financial Fair Play Failings?

Would the Sanctions be in line with Birminghams and would they be this season or next. ?

Agree0 Disagree0

Apparently decision by this Thur, if they want to sanction the clubs this season. If no decision by Thu, any punishment will be carried over to next season. Just what nervous Villa fans are saying.

The deadline for points sanctions this season is a few days away so they will probably get hit next season if they are...

Doesn’t seem very fair on brum that they get hit this season and no one else does for the Same offensive

I think flouting the rules and buying a player, whilst under an embargo, did for Brum.😐

Problem is they are all flouting the rules now,so it should be dealt with now and not later.
If they gain promotion, then that should be reversed as they have broken the rules to get there.
No fines,no threats, just simple that clubs know the rules and promotion can't be gained if you break them

Agreed, through 'creative accounting' but Birmingham ignored an embargo. Big clubs can write off debt but I believed the rules were based on £39m over three years of losses. That's turnover v operating costs, if rich owners keep buying debt, smaller clubs have no chance. Sadly I believe Forest had £40m of debt 'written off' so we're just as bad? EFL has to make a stand, protect the league's integrity and protect clubs from bankruptcy or a free for all 'money buys the league'. Difficult decision because PL parachute payments unfairly tip the balance in relegated clubs favour. Unless your Stoke 😁.
