The only way that we are going to be sucessfull is if we move from the City ground. I think the Brian Clough "PRESENCE" is still intimidating and overpowering for owners and managers. Case of new starts new prospects. Simples.

nashua2 I think that the presence of OBE would be with us even if we were to move to Timbuktu.

Although I respect your opinion I cannot agree with it as The City Ground is to many still an iconic ground which I know is a view shared by many visiting supporters and is our home.

The heyday of Mr Clough AND the always forgotten Mr Taylor was decades ago and although I still have the memories ( and not all good ones ) I have moved on from it as I hope the club has.

Nashua-I’ve never heard such nonsense!
Moving from the world famous city ground would be the worst thing that we could do, that’s where the history lies and where the memories are. It’s not the stadium it’s the staff, owner, manager, players, the ones that put the shift in and either get success or they don’t. To blame it on Sir Brian or the ground is absolute poppycock! Give your head a wobble and have a word with yourself mate.

There are far too many new stadia that look as if they've come straight from Ikea! "Is always to be here" 🎵🎶

Well simples sums up that post Nashua 2😁😁

The world iconic City Ground
Not Ikea Prideless Park

But how are we going to house the East Midlands NFL franchise at the City Ground to develop the cash flow required to compete with the top Premiership clubs?

20 Mar 2019 16:17:02
Revenue will be created due to on site restaurants conference facilities and a Forest museum.

21 Mar 2019 09:40:54
Additional revenue is required from more sell out events inside the stadium to compete at the very top!

21 Mar 2019 10:48:07
RIE, Forest's days at the very top are long gone, and will never happen again. We will at best manage what Bournemouth are managing to do, winning the PL and the CL are impossible under current so called fair play rules, no more owners splashing as much as they want to turn small clubs into big clubs.
