It's interesting reading all the comments about calvahalo and mart8n being negative in his team selection.
How can he be positive anymore than he does?
Leaves calvahalo out, cash has been injured so can't pick him, that leaves Yates, geddy ,yacob, colback, bridcutt,Pele, gongalves, lolley,Osborn, ward, appiah, watson,to pick from?
All class players going forward lol.
Add a forward line of Murphy, the Iranian mess, and an unfit Bonatini and fans expect miracles?
It's a very unbalanced squad that needs serious pruning and a different direction

Guedioura as one of the 3 in the middle would be a start.
Our best dm Colback has been mistakenly moved from his best position in the centre to accommodate Yates who is basically a 3 foot taller version of Osborn. Will run around for you all day but will give you sod all else.

He’s dealing with the same problems as AK was and generally the points / game ratio is probably about the same (haven’t checked so don’t know for sure). ONeil is no miracle worker but I suppose some would have been expecting some progress.

There's one difference there 2star most of the players were bought in by karanka the few players Mon bought in have made a difference especially at the back come summer I expect a lot in and a lot out next season I expect to see a big improvement

I can't understand why Yacob has been completely dropped, not even on the bench.

The club brings the players in, not the manager. The manager picks the team (we hope), formation and style of play. We have a lot of pieces from lots of jigsaws, MON has replaced AK but we still can't make a complete picture of a team. We've lost some pieces to injury/suspension, tried to force some in and apparently lost a few. Results? Up and down, as they have been all season. Only bonus is between the 2 management teams, we've enough points to avoid a relegation battle. From an owners perspective, football on the pitch, 5/10. Peed money up the wall, for little return. Off the pitch, 8/10. Maybe this is where the owners should concentrate their expertise?

Every time geddy starts a game he plays poor,he's a twenty minute man, like quite a few,Yates did alright centre mid,but has struggled playing wide right to cover for cashs injury, other than take a gamble on appiah can't see much that he could have done to make us more attack minded

He couldn’t have done anymore with what he’s had. I get that sport is about dreams the season was always likely to fizzle out. MON is being judged already because there is no progress. I hope we all become acceptant that it’s our future that is more important than this season
