Next season a player is not allowed to score from a rebound from a penalty being taken and when a player has as been substituted he will have to leave the pitch by going to the nearest outer line of the pitch in order to cut down on time wasting.

Stevie f, I agree, as for the time wasting aspect of the game whatever part of the game it is heavy punishment is over the top but would sort it out quicker.
What punishment would you like for time wasting.?

Also heard next season we will be allowed to perform what will be known as "The Running Huddle" (section 8 paragraph 4 of The Football Hand Book) (honest!!)
Where we shuffle up the pitch sorrounding the ball, towards the opposing net,were a designated player strokes it home.

One change I never understood is when they allowed a goal kick to be taken from either side of the 6 yard box , irrespective of which side the ball went out .surely a time wasters charter , and I don’t see how it’s beneficial to the game at all

I think the time should be taken away from the ref like in rugby league or rugby union when play stops the clock stops just a thought 😕

Lc 2 bits of obvious time wasting do my nut in, when a goalkeeper catches a perfectly easy ball ,and then falls on the floor, and the other is subs deep into injury time

I also hate it when players go down when a opposition player is close to them in order to slow the game down.
