It is interesting to watch people who were so utterly convinced we were moving forwards with AK now deciding the club is in a mess and making a lot of poor signings.
If we were making such great progress how come suddenly the same squad with players added (apart from Fox) is a bunch of "duds"?

The thing people forget is our squad in recent seasons has been thread bare, and has mainly been made up from free signings and loans. AK assembled a bigger squad, which was better than what we had. It was by no means full of world beating players, and I know some fans were angry that we weren't battering teams 4-0 each week, but AK had that team around the top 6, which is progress on where we have been in recent seasons. Now we have MON who is nothing more than a safe pair of hands to sit out 18 months, and RK who is just a liability, and shouldn't be around any first team. The squad has never been good enough for top 6 under the last 3 managers, this is not going to change over night. The sad fact remains we just need to let one manager have a go at building a decent team that can challenge at the top.

What a ridiculous statement,â€some fans weren’t happy because we weren’t battering teams 4-0 every week “some just wanted a bit of entertainment in our home games ,and to say Keane is a liability is also ridiculous , his managerial record ,maligned as it is , is actually equal to the so called proven manager karanka,,people tend to forget how heavily bankrolled karanka’s promotion year was at Middlesbrough by Steve Gibson , and if karanka finishes up with a managerial record anywhere near the so called safe pair of hands we have in at the moment I will be very surprised

AK was beginning to get some loyalty and trust from the players and the fans, and a good spirit in the team, when the ground was swept away from under him by the owner. There is no indication yet that the same won't happen to MON/RK.

You say ridiculous, but then qualify it by saying you want to be entertained each week. So to define being entertained that is beating the opposition comfortably each week, and thus rules out the scrappy odd goal wins? I'm sorry to say we don't have the squad for entertaining football, and haven't done so for a good few years.
As for the comment about RK'S managerial credentials, that's just outrageous! The man is such a liability, no other club has offered him a job in his own right, and seemingly you only take a punt on him if MON is there to keep him in check. I certainly would say RK has a management career of any note.
