Out of interest who was the last player we signed that a club didn't want to get rid off Britt maybe?
But think posh were resigned to losing him, This is where our recruitment is going wrong if clubs accept offers easily or there unattached it's usually for a good reason and we have made a squad out of them, I'm sure carvalho was already transfer listed, would just love us to test a clubs resolve for a player they reguard highly.

Against the players muted we’ve generally signed some odd choices. I accept however the club never said we were after Kevin Macdoanld or Reece Oxford.

What is the point of this post? Players run down their contracts but it doesn't make them bad players just because you do not pay a fee?

Red the point of my question is we are hardly signing players that are in high demand, hence the reason we have a squad of bang average players or were there ques of teams fighting for the likes of Watson, pants, Robinson, hefele ect ect no there wasn't, no just because you don't pay a fee doesn't make them bad players but it's 99% of the time because they are carp of they would of been offered a new deal they couldn't resist, but glad your happy with 30 plus journey men and think my point is wrong I for one think we have recruited badly for a while now

We have james no doubt. For about 30 years now. Even clough was as bad. I still sit here in disbelief at the sale of sherringham and the subsequent recruitment of Gary Bannister and Rob Rosario - totally bizarre !
