I'm not a fan of sacking managers but ak needs to go. sorry for being cheesed off but it's the only chance we've got of silverware this season and ak don't look bothered it's like a cardboard cut out on the sideline.

Vulcan I have made the same statement for the past few weeks on a Facebook NFFC site and got slated for it with comments like " we are 7th in the league and you want the manager sacked. Moron" I predicted we'd get turned over by Burton too. Fact is Karanka isn't up to it. He's one dimensional and stands on the touchline clueless. I don't think the Big Greek will give him more funds to fritter away in January given his previous poor choices. Why is it Cloughie can find gems kicking around in non league football but we have a managed that can't get a 13.5m buy to do what he's supposed to do. Burton last night reminded me of the hunger we last had under Frank Clark and BC before that. We should have moved mountains to get Nigel on board. He's shrewd, wouldn't bankrupt the club with nonsense buys and he instills confidence and belief in players

Realistically we were never going to win the league cup anyway. Sacking managers after only 19 matches with only 3 losses (admittedly too many draws in there as well) is the reason we are still in the championship which is were we belong at the moment. I'm personally not bothered about going out the cup I was more bothered about the managers terrible team selection. Didn't like the look of it on paper never mind seeing it on the pitch where it inevitably had no shape and was disjointed.

Ha ha, sack the manager because we lost to Burton, no wonder you got slated on Facebook.
Priority is the League, we're all disappointed not to get through as it was a golden opportunity to reach the quarters, Burton fully deserved it and played very well, full credit to them. But knee jerk reactions are just plain daft.

Sorry to be a loaner but what is going on at forest when we struggle against Burton all our possession has been in our own half, we can't pass more than 2 yards no one can carry the ball are we a crap team or is the coaching at fault?

I think as Eric was away with the American team for much of the pre season MW is giving him a break from playing, and getting him use to his team mates before playing him.

Being one of the best players means nothing if the manager does not think highly of you, look at Vellious, scores 5 pre season goals and can not start a game, or even on the bench against Barnsley.

He has a year left on his contract so there is no rush as he will want to stay in Nottingham in any event. My bet is if we do not renew his contract for next season and he is then surplus he will be joining Nigel at Burton!

You could give ak another 10 players and he wouldn't know what to do with them. just look at cloughie - got no cash his players on paper not as good as ours, but they showed more skill on the ball, more movement passing, were better and they wanted it more.

I struggle to understand why fans are such on a downer I could understand if we was sitting at the bottom of the table but we're just outside of top 6 and yeah not always playing our best but we're not losing as many as last season we played some better football and lost most games last season, ak ain't the best thing since sliced bread but even if we had Jose here fans wouldn't be happy let's gets some early Xmas cheer and enjoy doing the double over the sheep

I wonder if carvalho is a little down on confidence he is a decent player but he don't look as good as when I watched him in the pre season games and he seems to be scared to shoot at times is that down to coaching or the player, as for the Leeds game our midfield was pretty much nonexisten for long periods of the game I thought our best two on the pitch was Murphy and colback one thing that I didn't realise how much pace Murphy as got hoping for a good game against chelsea
