Once again we are at the mercy of a senseless owner, who cannot see the wood for our tricky trees. The new bloke looks weak and will do what Marinakis wants, and the players we get will all be vetted by the owner and probably put there by him. If the present players had any sense they'd ask to leave. It's an appalling way to treat one of the best management combos we could have had and who would have got us into the top six next year, as it is we'll be lucky if we escape the drop. Consistency on the pitch comes from consistency off it and we don't have it. Sorry lads but the future looks extremely bleak, and I can't think of a positive thing to say. Once again we won't be worth watching, and the new bloke won't have a clue.

The best management combo but the players wanted him gone? Makes sense. Talking about worth watching O'Neils management spell was some of the worst football I have ever seen. His stubborness not to rate Carvs was mad! Better still he put him in against a physical Boro and it showed him up big time. O'Neil should have never been appointed in the first place.

Seems that Maranakis is no different than Fawaz.

If the reports are true and the players revolted and refused to play for him due to old school tactics poor training and no homework on opposition teams before games what choice did the Greek have started at the end of last season apparently.
