I know this will be controversial to some but if MON is staying then we need to sell Grabban, lolley and carvalho to raise potentially 35 million. MON can buy the players who suit his style. We can’t afford another season of a manager saddled with players not only from a different regime , but on this occasion from competing styles of play.

OK. 2star and who would we get instead as a striker who has will score goals like grabben?
If that's the case every player bar Murphy will be the only player left as he's O'Neils blue eyed boy!

Wow 2star that's a brave statement

Thats a tough but great point 2star. Problem is carvallaho has little value, maybe 500k. Grabban is nearly 31 has a poor rep as teamster may fetch 4mill and lolley has gone a bit cold as he did at huddersfield and a value nearer 6 to 8 mill realistic so its looking like 12 to 13 mill for those 3. If oneil stays which i hope he does then if these 3 have to go then god hell us with the rest of the crew which is massive and valueless.

Can't see us getting anywhere near 35 million for them 3 to be honest

Olympiacos will pay 13 million for carvalho. Lolley might fetch 10 - depends on how much AV want him, Osborn and Grabban may scrap 8 between them.
Apologies I missed Osborn off the list.

Murphy needs replacing with a younger version, like him or not his style fits O Neil. Grabban doesn’t fit the type of football and has stated through his body language the he ain’t interested in the MON way.

I'd sell Grabban and Carvalho. I'd keep Lolley though. We should sell Grabban now because he is still yound enough to bring in money. He'll be on the decline soon money wise. Buy young and sell when they reach about 30 if you are going to sell... Fergie used to do it all the time...

Grabban is injury prone and has a known Achilles problem like Fryatt, he will also be 32 next, think 2 million is all the money for him.

500k for Murphy from Lincoln or one of the league 2 promoted teams and 2m for Osborne.

If MON stays then Carvalho to Greece get our money back and Lolley to Villa for 10m

That will free up 27.5 million for him to spend personally I wouldn't trust him to spend 20p on new players.

Get Wagner in keep Carvalho and Lolley and replace Osborne,Murphy and Grabban.

Lets give youth a chance my squad would include Worrall Walker Appiah Yates Figeredo Byram and Robinson and build around those 9 players plus Colback if we can sign him.

No more loans and journeymen who are not committed to the shirt

That will free up

Yes let’s sell our bests players so we can replace them with some big, can’t control but can hoof it football.
I can’t wait for next season, I’m getting excited by the thought, MON maybe getting some tips off Warnock on how to play unattractive football and get promoted, and if it doesn’t work by October MON will be sacked and we will be fighting relegation. Sorry 2star bad idea, but I would sell Osborn, and get rid of all the other dross.
Personally I’d like to play more like Swansea, if they had a striker they’d be dangerous.

Think grabbons lost interest carvahallo a waste in this league hopefully olympiacos will take him off our hands for near enough what we paid cause there will be nobody else interested in him above 2 million think lolleys had is head turned by premiership teams interest he will be gone in fact all 3 come summer I'm sorry to say again a good clear out including goalkeepers a big job again for any manager but who will that be come summer big few months coming up

Demis, what drives my view is that one of two things will happen, the manager will go or the players that I’ve mentioned will go to find the managers needs. I personally believe the manager will stay because the chairman has a strong influence over the owner and club I insiders who support MON are influencing the chairman. Personally don’t care either way as both options haven’t been inspiring this season. It shows how desperate we’ve become though when we think carvalhos’s contribution as irreplaceable . For what reason is my question

Demis we did play more like Swansea under warburton, 50 passes to get out your own half but needed to score 4 goals to win games, because we were wide open at the back, and generally powderpuff up front
